The 2005 Gamesday was just that - a single day, instead of the traditional 2 day event. We flew down for just the day, instead of staying over night.

Last year, I brought a single model for the Golden Daemon competition, a decision I made just a day or two before departure. After the the mighty and unique Dakka-Lith failed to even make first cut, I was hoping that my recently completed Hellhound might garner some interest.

Unfortunately for me, it didn't even make first cut, despite the fact that one of the vehicles that did was debateably less intersting.... Well, once again, there's always next time!

On a better note, Ben Howard, a local gamer and friend, did make the first cut in the 40k single mini, with his space marine captain!

I hooked up with Hakbash, Nosher, and Spronston Green for most of the afternoon. We played one 40k game on an amazing ork table, and when they went to a seminar, I whooped Ben and Jeremey's behind with an ogre kingdom's army.

While I still don't understand why GW doesn't offer a retail discount at GD (after all, I don't pay sales tax in NH - why buy it from them when I can get it actually cheaper at my local store, even at full retail?) I did get a couple of books that I needed.

So just a few pics this year, nothing too exciting.

As always, if you can make it to gamesday, I would definitely recommend it.
