We had the good fortune to attend Gamesday 2003 in Baltimore, Maryland. Two fun filled days of WAAAGH!

We didn't bring any of our models, we wanted to travel light, not have to worry about them during the sessions, and truth be told feel that they weren't up to modeling par to bring to the big show.

The base ticket allows you to get in the door, and there is some free gaming that we did, and we also registered for two games. These registered games are great, as for $2 a game you get to use someone else's models, and it gives you a chance to maybe use an army that you haven't tried before. I ended up playing the Space Wolves once, and the Orks twice - even though I hadn't registered, there was a beautiful table that I was able to sneak in on as it wasn't full (full = 4 players per side).

My friend Vinnie discusses some pre-game tactics with a younger player. I really enjoyed the mix of players that were in presence.

I must say that you end up playing with, and against a lot of different players, and this is a good thing. Without exception, at every table I was on, the players were fun to be with. There was no arguing, and while some younger players did at times have different, creative interpretations of the rules, they never objected to being corrected. If you can make one, I would definitely recommend it.

So here we go! We divided up the days to make it easier to digest; there are a lot of pictures!
